Zoë grew up in Charlottesville and graduate from UVA in 2005 with a degree in History and Religious Studies. Since graduation she has pursued the study of Yoga throughout India and in ashrams and communities in the United States. She has been making extended trips to Mysore, India since 2010, studying under the guidance of Sharath Jois. She received his blessing to teach the Primary Series in 2013, and the Intermediate series in 2015, after months of assisting him at the KPJAYI. Her daily progress in the ashtanga method is guided by her western teachers Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann. Zoë currently teaches various introductory and beginner level programs for the Ashtanga Initiative and stands in for John Bultman as the Primary Instructor while he is with their teacher in India.
