Leslie Craig joined the University of Virginia in February 2018 as a development associate serving CSC and the Center for Politics. She has extensive experience in nonprofit development and fundraising, administration, events, and project management. In her previous role with LePort Montessori Schools, she was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Education, where she helped implement an initiative to institute mindfulness practices for the children and staff. Prior to that position, she worked as a development specialist with the Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA) and was the office manager for The Emergency Food Network. In her current role, she supports Erin Hall in fundraising, development and administration for the CSC.
She is a graduate of Wilmington College (Ohio) and earned a B.A. in English and a double minor in History and Communication. She is studying for a dual M.S. in Strategic Communications and a graduate certificate in Strategic Communication Management with Purdue University.
Leslie lives in Charlottesville with her three children. They love to wander along the local trails, snuggle up with a stack of books at Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, and attend to museums and festivals.
