The FEAP staff have varying degrees of experience with contemplative science from simple practice ourselves of mindfulness, visualization, centering breath, yoga, tai chi, self hypnosis and other methods to the MBSR certified trainer. We strive to both learn and practice more. We introduce clients to the concepts and benefits of self-reflection, meta-cognition, staying in the moment, mindfulness and meditative practices and will lead clients through brief breathing, meditation and guided imagery exercises when it is appropriate to their needs and concerns. We strive to follow the client and introduce new strategies for health and wellness when and if they are ready.
Any employee or their family member seeking a free and confidential appointment with one of the FEAP Consultants can call 434-243-2643 for further information and scheduling.
