Join us for this four-part series on scientifically-supported approaches to managing stress and prospering during times of adversity. The first session in the series, entitled “Developing a Growth Mindset” will introduce participants to the concept of growth mindset and its impact on well-being and performance. The second session “Gratitude and Other Foundations of Positive Psychology” will provide participants with compelling support for practices that cultivate awareness and appreciation. In “Diffusing Mind Traps,” participants will examine common cognitive patterns that inhibit resilience and will learn helpful strategies for overcoming those patterns. The series will conclude with "Mindfulness 101," in which we will look at some of the beneficial effects of mindfulness such as mental clarity, composure, well-being, and more. Attendees will also participate in mindfulness exercises as a group.
